Stuck between the day and the night,
Pulled each way by heart and mind,
No co-existing with light and dark,
And you can't actually grasp either.
Floating between sky and ground
Pondering former natural law
Weightlessness and elements,
Communication strong, no words
A fine line divides sleep and awake
Stretching my being taut and thin
Then twisted and twirled and bound.
Shouting whispers I wake; perplexed.
